Do you have a child with autism? Are you a carer for someone with special needs? Or, do you work with adults or children with disabilities? If so, then you will know how important it is for everyone to have access to social experiences, yet, how challenging this can be in noisy, unfamiliar surroundings.

At Flux Freestyle Ipswich, we have recognised the need for individual, organised spaces and Autism Aspergers social events Suffolksessions with our newly formed assisted sessions. The simple action of safe bouncing skills allows children and adults with a disability the chance to develop better control of their motor skills and explore their space. Thus, leading to the individual being happier and more relaxed after a trampolining session.

Through extensive research, focus groups and collaborations with Autism & ADHD, we have gathered a significant personal and professional insight into how to best offer this service. In comparison to our everyday sessions, the number of participants are reduced by a third, and the music is turned down with a specialist playlist for the session. We also understood the need for each individual to be assisted by a parent or responsible adult during the session, and so we offer a free adult carer place; with the understanding that they remain on the trampoline floor at all times.

Our programme of sessions will include every Tuesday from 12pm – 1pm for the ‘Assisted Session’, with our ‘Low-Sensory Family Session’ occurring on a Wednesday from 4pm – 5pm, all taking place during school term-time. These family sessions allow parents or carers to bring the child or adult with a disability along with other family members.

These times are applicable to term-time periods and do change during the school holidays. You can view these adjusted times on our ‘timetables’ page.

Attend our ‘Assisted Session’ or ‘Low-Sensory Family Session’ for just £10 per person – including one free parent/responsible person – to see the benefits of trampolining yourself.

You can read our safety instructions online before attending the session, where they will also be on show throughout. Click here, and get to know what can and can’t be carried out at Flux Assist.
